A recent purchase of our clients, this Georgian-style home rests elegantly in a high-end suburb of Melbourne. Our clients approached us to develop a furniture and decor package which would highlight the luxurious fittings and finishes of the property, including European oak parquetry flooring and stunning chandeliers.
Entry
Beautiful French doors open to a grand entrance where an American hand-made buffet introduces you to the grandeur of this home. A champaign starburst mirror reflects the shapes of the intricate moulding of the Morning Room Cabinet, and large double lamps punctuate the entry.
Piano Lounge
Heading through the home’s ground level, you are welcomed into a gorgeous formal living area. Set as a piano lounge, the client hoped to create a luxurious entertainment space. Dressed with navy and brushed gold, we selected sumptuous velvet and Belgian linens to create the atmosphere.
Main Bedroom
The main bedroom is a haven of luxury, with diamond buttoned bedhead and layers of French linen. Soft blues and creamy neutrals balance the accents of brushed gold found in the hardware of the grand dresser, lamps and gilded artwork frames.
Guest Bedroom
The ground-level Guest bedroom feels luxurious with a diamond-buttoned vintage velvet bedhead. Large artworks sit atop the grand bedside trunks and echo the curve of the bed-end seating. Opulent custom-made cushions add a gentle pattern to this stunning space.
Boy's Bedroom
For the upstairs bedroom, the addition of sharper lines and geometric shapes were echoed through a number of pieces, creating more masculine elements to the design, while keeping with the overall elegant flow of the home.
